1. Booking & Confirmation

• All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

• A confirmation email with your details will be sent upon successful booking.

• The location of the tour is by Lake Ruataniwha in Twizel. The exact location will be sent upon booking.

• Your own transportation to and from the tour site will be necessary

2. Cancellation Policy

• Customer-Initiated Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled tour time are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour or no-shows are non-refundable.

3. Weather Policy

• Stargazing is highly dependent on clear skies.

• Operator-Initiated Cancellations:

  • If the tour is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions (e.g., heavy cloud cover, rain), guests will be offered:

    • An option to reschedule the tour at no additional cost.

    • A full refund if rescheduling is not feasible.

    • If the sky is partially clear, the tour will go ahead, but with discounts if the tour is not fully completed. Eg if we see 50% of the sky, you will receive a 50% discount.

4. Rescheduling

• Guests may request to reschedule their tour 24 hours or more before the scheduled time, subject to availability.

5. Participant Requirements

• All participants should dress appropriately for nighttime outdoor conditions.

• Children must be accompanied by an adult.

• Minimum age 6 years old.

• Your own transportation

6. Check-in

• Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour starts

• Car parking will be available

• Guests are not eligible for refunds upon late arrival or no show

7. Liability

• The tour operator is not liable for any personal injuries, loss, or damage to personal property during the tour.
